Wanting to be loved

Sometimes your wanting to be loved is being hindered by your inability to love yourself. You see love could be reaching out all around you but you can’t hear it or see it or feel it, because you have some deep problems that make you feel unworthy or unwanted. Remember the scene in Polar Express where the little boy could not hear the bells. He was right in the middle of all of the joy and sheer excitement, but his ability not to believe limited his what he could experience. I don’t know any other way out of this cycle of rejection, low self esteem or what ever it is than to ask God to heal your heart. He says that he came to heal the broken hearted. God can help you to love yourself. He did it for me and my life has never been the same after his mightly touch. Dear Lord, help them to find a way to experience all the love that their heart desperately needs and wants. In Jesus name. Amen.
