Can God Help Me - A Stripper?

Here is another question someone asked, Can God help me, a stripper? Why not? Why would God not help you to change your lifestyle if that is what you want to do. God is probably dancing around in heaven right now because you are considering your ways and feeling uncomfortable with some part of your life. The bible says that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us. That means right in the middle of our mess, in the very act of the most irreverable activites he said, you mean everything to me and I am willing to die for you to get your life straight.

God can handle anything. He ate dinner with prostitutes, he saved a woman that a group of men literally snatched out of bed while she was right in the middle of having an adulterous affair with a man, he exposed a woman’s entire life that had been leaving with a whole lot of men that were not her husband (she started preaching by the way) and he let a “dirty” woman annoint his body with oil before his death on the cross. He’s an awesome God. All he wants any of us to do is to get our lives straight so that we can have the peace that he always wanted us to have. All he ever wanted was for us to all have a good life in the middle of a chaotic world, instead of having to live in a chaotic world and still suffer with self afflicted problems that leaves us feeling guilty, sinful, ashamed, and constantly stuggling with life and ourselves. Find my article on Starting Over, it will bless you.

So you are a stripper, and…. There is not a person on this planet that does not have some type of problem that they don’t like about themselves or their lives. We have no right to judge or cast stones at anyone. The Bible says we often try to pull the spec out of our brothers eye when we are walking around with a BEAM in our own eye. God wants us to repent, quit doing what we are doing and “sin no more.” That’s basically it. The blood covers all sin.

Please do not confuse the church with God. A lot of churches unfortunately will condemn people, judge people and place themselves on such a holy pinnacle that people with serious issues are not welcomed or often feel out of place. The church is often blinded by its own sense of piety. I pray that you will find a church that is not that way, and there are many that are not that way. Take your issues to God on your knees through prayer. He will forgive you and help you to go on. When you feel the peace, love, and security that he is able to provide, you will cling to him and allow him to give you a perfected and productive life. So here is my prayer for you:

God help this person that has already reached out to you. Please help them to enter into rest and peace. Dear God allow them to accomplish every good thing that you always wanted for their life. In Jesus name. Amen. Now go with God and be free.

Great Questions, I’m new to the blog, are these rhetorical?

Thank you for writing. I’m not sure I understand the question based on my definition of rhetorical. In the event that you define rhetorical as persuasive writing then the answer would be yes. Questions are submitted by individuals.
