Two Friends Need Prayer

Two friends of mine need prayer. One is going through a terrible divorce and it is draining the life out of him and the other was a victim of serious domestic abuse and survived a gun shot to the face. If the Lord touches your heart please send up a word of prayer for them.

Dr. Murphy was shot in the face by her ex-husband and survived. Half of her face was blown off. I have her story in one of my post. I think I titled it how to forgive after being shot. This happened years ago and through her pain and heart ache the Lord gave her a ministry of reaching out to abuse victims and those that have been sexually assaulted. Though she went through years of facial reconstruction, none of the work was finalized because she could not endure the pain of the surgery. Anyway a group of doctors heard about her testimony and decided that they would be willing to reconstruct her face without a fee, but she is hesitant because she knows what she will have to endure. I believe that God is trying to reward her by enduring such a tragic life circumstance and not allowing bitterness to destroy her but instead turning the pain into ministry.
